Country’s meat production stands at 71.54 lakh metric tonnes
Staff Correspondent, from Parliament: Fisheries and Livestock Minister Narayan Chandra Chanda told the House that in 2016-17, country's meat demand was 71 lakh 35 thousand tonnes, but the production was 71 lakh 54 thousand tonnes.
